Why Venkatesh – Puri film was dropped?

Why Venkatesh’s film in the direction of Puri Jagannadh is dropped? Buzz in the industry is that Puri has quoted huge amount for the movie’s budget. Venkatesh and his producer-brother Suresh Babu were hoping that Puri would slash his remuneration for this film as he is going through lean phase. But Puri neither reduced his salary, nor he quoted less cost for production cost.

As the film’s production cost is running beyond Venkatesh’s regular market, the movie is said to have been put aside. Venky is now dealing with director Krish.
